Restore factory settings

I have a Dell Optiplex GX110 and having lost the recovery CDs and windows CDs am looking to reset my computer to its factory settings.  I tried zztop, but my computer doesn't seem to like that saying invalid dump file.  Is there a way to manually reset the hard drive?  Even opening up the motherboard and pressing some button?  I understand I'll lose everything but what I started with when I received my dell computer, but with not much working (and me already having backed up everything important) I don't mind.  Please help.  Thanks.

If you have lost everything how are you going to install anything back after you formatt the hard drive. You might want to think about that one.:smileyvery-happy:

It's always handy to know the version of windows that's installed.

The Optplex GX110 is too old, by several years, to have the Dell PC Restore utility, factory installed.

The closest to reverting the system to it's factory condition, is to carry out a clean reinstall of windows, followed by installing all the drivers and applications.

For this, you will need the windows reinstallation disc, all the drivers can be downloaded from Dell's Support site.
