Serial ATA hard drive w/databurst cache (product code 320s)

Question

In using this PC I have used a 2GB flash drive to allow use of Ready Boost for more rapid startup.  However , since the hard drive has a DataBurst cache, is use of the flash drive redundant? That is, is the DataBurst cache for the same purpose of speeding startup?

'That is, is the DataBurst cache for the same purpose of speeding startup?'   No,   'data burst cache' is a made up term Dell uses to market hard drives in their PC's, all hard drives have 'onboard cache', 8mg, 16mb, 32mb, this is what the Dell term actually means.
