Serial ATA hard drive w/databurst cache (product code 320s)

In using this PC I have used a 2GB flash drive to allow use of Ready Boost for more rapid startup.  However , since the hard drive has a DataBurst cache, is use of the flash drive redundant? That is, is the DataBurst cache for the same purpose of speeding startup?

No,

"data burst cache" is a made up term Dell uses to market hard drives in their PC's, all hard drives have "onboard cache", 8mg, 16mb, 32mb, this is what the Dell term actually means.
