Solution for message "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable."

I recently got a DVD+RW burner, but when I put discs I created into my Inspiron 600m's DVD/CD-RW drive and tried to open or copy files, Windows displayed the message, "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable."

The solution was pretty obvious -- download new drive firmware and update the drive. This solved the problem.
