If Windows 7 came preinstalled on your system, try the OS restore procedure first.
If you are trying to perform a clean installation, please follow the guide I've linked to below. It may be necessary to set the controller mode to ATA in the BIOS.
This worked perfectly; but im now trying to install LAN drivers and the ones on the internet don't seem to be working?.. Do you think you can send me which ones work with Windows 7?

So after you installed the factory drive image, your LAN drivers are missing? Or is it that your LAN is just not working?
In order to send you the link, I need to know if your Windows version is 32-bit or 64-bit.
