Two local disks, causing low disk space.

I recently reinstalled windows xp. To begin with, I had two different versions of windows xp on my computer. I finally managed to delete the second version, but now I am having trouble with low disk space. I have looked in "my computer" under my hard disks and it seems that I now have two local disks, C and D, and the D local disk is full. I need to know what I should to do get rid of this extra local disk. I have used the disk cleanup on both, and this doesnt help. Someone please help!!

Right click "My Computer" click "Manage" and select "Disk Management".

Go into Disk Management and delete it.

I do not have the option to delete it in disk management. The delete button is blocked out.

That indicates you are booting to the partition that you want to delete...

I'd recommend you start over, delete everything, and reinstall XP after deleting all partitions.
