Upgrade HDD firmware (D2D5DEM1.zip) for Vostro 3350 take too long time (may be never finish)

Hi,

I bought a Dell Vostro 3350 two years ago

I have just downloaded drivers for it from Dell Support page

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/servicetag/D5M7GP1

I tried upgrade HDD firmware (D2D5DEM1.zip - Seagate Momentus 2.5",SATA,3Gb/s,7200,512e Firmware Update) follow window GUI

Computer reboot into an black screen that I can see something on screed, this is some last lines on it:

[ ] ? 0xc054571d

[<0c54567e>] ? 0x0c54567e

[ ] ? 0xc0417936

In last line, the DOS Cursor still flashing ...

It not change over a night, nothing happen next :(

What should I do, Now it still working like that, I don't know what to do so i let it continue working and didn't shutdown it

Hope I can have an answer before I do something wrong :(

Hi Quyen194,

I don't believe you have any choice but to restart the system and see if the firmware update was installed properly.

My laptop is still running and just like it before :(

Lucky for me that i restart PC, HDD still work, and I won't try upgrade any more >_<
