What is ESP drive?
Could someone please tell me why I suddenly have a new drive ESP with the drive letter I showing up in windows file explorer? Properties show that there is 470MB filled of 496MB, and I've taken all my external drives out and it still shows up. I am running windows 8.1 on XPS 8700. My big concern is that it might be a virus or malware. Will appreciate any help.

It's part of the system boot (UEFI; ESP is EFI system partition).
Did you reinstall Windows at any point?

Thanks for replying! No, I have not made any changes at all to my computer that I can think of. Is this something I need to be concerned about??
