Thanks for replying to my question.  I did attempt to follow the links you provided and got hung up on Repair Console Step 4) Select the installation you want to repair.  I tried typing in the commands as they were listed in Article 269075 and was unsuccessful.  If you have any suggestions on that particular point, please reply!

Rerun your OS CD and let it overwrite the existing install.
