WinPE-style DSR partition

I just recovered my CTRL+F11 function in order to enter the DELL/Symantec Recovery System. I have used the procedures of Mr. Dan Goodell's http://www.goodells.net/dellrestore/ and was able to bring back the CTRL+F11 functionality after installing WinXP. But i want to bring back the "factory" settings of my laptop and just delete the bloatwares in it.
This is what I did:
1. Hit CTRL+F11 and entered the Dell/Symantec Recovery
2. I used the "Recover using a legacy Ghost image
3. Performed just like steps 2-9 at www.goodells.net/dellrestore/manualrestore/.
4. Upon clicking Local, Partition, From Image... it gave me this error:
Internal Error 36000. An internal inconsistency has been detected. If this problem persists, contact Symantec Technical Support at http://service.symantec.com
I'm feeling that i'm getting close in restoring my laptop to its original settings until this error came up. Hope there is still a solution for this error. My ghost image file in the hidden partition is still intact. My most concern is bringing back my laptop to its "factory" original content.

Thanks for all the help in advance.
Jojit

Perform the following steps.

1) First you need to reboot the computer, When the Dell screen appears, press and hold the + F11 key on the keyboard,  then release them both at the same time. The Starting Symantec|Dell Recovery Environment screen appears.
The Symantec Recovery Disk window appears.

2) If you want to restore your computer to the original Dell configuration, you need to click Recover My Computer to Original Dell Now you need to configuration and perform the following steps:
In the Recover My Computer Wizard window, click Yes or press the key, and press . A second Recover My Computer Wizard dialog box appears.

3)Click Yes or press the key, and press to start the recovery process. The Ghost32 window appears. Once the process begins, it usually takes only 8 to 10 minutes to complete. When the restore is complete, the system restarts. Your software is now as it was when you first received your computer.

Thanks for your help Dan David. I have done that but the problem is in the ghost image itself. I did ask Dell for the original CDs that should came with my laptop and they did send those CDs. I used them to re-install my laptop into fresh start. Thanks again for your reply.
