Windows Explorer error message
I recently bought a used dell a few months ago and it was working just fine. Now all of a sudden, every time I log onto the computer I get an error message that reads...
Window Explorer has encountered a problem that needs to close....
I click to send the error report and when its done it brings me back to my desktop but some of my icons are missing and I can't access any programs or files.
Please help!

Note that this is not likely a problem with the Dimension - Hard Drive, the topic of this forum, but is more likely a problem with Windows XP. Next time you get the error message, click on the link in that error message to view the details of the error report. Write down the AppName and ModName involved in the error and report that in a new message on the Software - Windows XP forum. Someon over there may then be able to help you.
