Xps 8500 only pics up 2.4TB of 3TB drive. Used to be a jumper on the motherboard i could switch to sort this.
I Have a 3TB storage drive on my 8500 when I first got the PC there were instructions from dell to move a jumper on the motherboard that allowed the whole 3TB to be seen witch i did and it worked. I later reset the jumper and now cant remember which one it is.
I have recently installed Win10 on a SSD in uefi mode and it still doesnt let me do anything with the remaining 746GB still says un- allocated space in device manager.
Anybody know what I am on about.

Hi Williambrodie,
I think all you need to do is update the Intel RST. I'm not familiar with any jumper on the motherboard that impacts hard drive settings.
