high disk usage
Hi, I am using Dell Inspiron 5558 15. Just brought it and using it for a few days, my laptop is showing an almost 90 to 100 percent disk usage. Can you tell me if any virus is causing it or something else. I have also attached a snapshot of the task manager. Please note that laptop is new and isnt having any heavy programs or something like that in it.

It's not uncommon for some services to cause heavy HDD access for a few minutes after startup. Things like defrag, any cloud-based services, some security applications, etc. will cause this. However, things should settle down quickly. How long does this happen on your system? Have you checked the processes tab to see what's accessing the hard drive?
