how do you install a harddrive?
I need to install my new 30 gig harddrive into my dell inspiron 5100, how do i do this and im very computer impaired so is it an easy install or not?

the hdd is located on the left side of the system, it were you insert your pc cards, bellow that you will find 2 screws that are holding it, unscrew them and slid it out, do the same thing to insert the drive that you got.

Hi,
It may be worth adding, that there is an adapter on the back of the drive you will have to change over. It will pull off. Look at both together and you will see the difference.
