how to RMA harddrive

I have an IBM harddrive that i ordered from the software/peripherals store that went bad. I tried to RMA it from IBM/Hitachi but after entering the serial# in their website I got this message:

The serial number you have provided was sold to an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and is not eligible to be returned directly to Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. You must go back to your point of purchase to obtain warranty support.

how can i get this RMA'd through dell?

thanks,

angelo

By contacting Dell's Technical Support, it's best to phone them, using eMail can be a lesson in futility.
