inspirion 9100 many errors please help

Ive been having a lot of problems recently and suddenly my computer cannot seem to read from the CD-rom drive. I then rebooted using the CD-rom drive, and tested the hard drive and the CD-rom, the following errors were shown: Hard Drive Error code: 0F00:0244; Msg: Block 6736187: Uncorrectable data error or media is write protected Error code: 0F00:1A44: Block 6736187   CD-rom Error code 0F00:021B; Msg: Blocks: 201716, 201809, 201995, 202026: Flaw in medium or an error in the recorded data. If this is a removable media device, try different media.   I would much appreciate any help on these matters.

The hard drive is failing and needs to be replaced. Try another CD-ROM disc - the present one may be scratched.
