Hard drive space

Hi I have Aurora R7 has 128gb hard drive. I'm trying to figure out C: having only 27gb left when I only have Windows 10 OS and Dell Allienware on it. Total of around 30Gb. After a lot of head scratching etc I could only find the drive has 4 recovery partitions?? why I need them I don't know.. as well as the main boot partition. Can anybody help Thanks H

If you clean-install Windows, you can just delete all those.

However, you should probably create the Windows Recovery USB-flash first (with system files). IIRC, that will include those OEM (Dell) modifications to the true ISO (but they are not that important anyway).

To answer your PM ...

No, there is no 512gb limit.

Yes, a 1-TB Samsung EVO M.2/PCIe/NVMe SSD will work just fine in Aurora-R7. Yes, it will install and work in motherboard's M.2/NVMe slot.

A 1-TB Samsung EVO 2.5-inch SATA SSD will also work. Those are a bit slower. That would install in one of the lower drive slot/cages.

You can post in Alienware desktop section if you want.
