I would like to get a install/administration guide to provision symmetrix luns to netapp NAS .
We have been provisioning vols from the VMAX to a Netapp cluster and we are having some issues . Does anybody have work on something like this?
I would appreciate your help

I don't know NotApp, but I guess this NAS presents itself just like a Windows host ? Or Linux ? What issues are you having ?

I think Alberto means that the NotApp functions as some sort of NAS head which gets it's LUN's from a DMX, not unlike a Celerra Gateway.
Is this a correct assumption ?

Yes this is a correct assumption. Netapp heads series V are using multivendor Storage as backend . I have found out some information on that on the
Netapp website .

NetApp Gateway's are not offcially supported as clients of a Symm, so you wont find any doco.
That being said, it would work just fine.....you just wont get support on it from EMC
