Cascading kvms

I have a dell/avocent 2162ds and a new avocent mpu2016 kvm switches. I want them to cascade. When I connect mpu2016 to old 2162ds using aci port  on 2162ds, it doesnot work but the oppostie works.  Is it possble to connect the new mpu2016 to old 2162ds. I need this setup cause my kmm is connected to 2162ds and its almost impossible to move the kmm or extend the cable,
