DRAC 4/p System Information
Hello
Im new here and a liitle newbie. I have PE 6800 and drac 4/p inside. All drivers was installed. But when i login to drac card in system information i have windows 2003, but on this server was installed win 2008 r2. How to update this information? Any software installation? I was looking for some time using google to find answare but nothing found.

You need to install OMSA on the server to get this information updated. You can download the same from
downloads.dell.com/.../OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WIN-6.5.0-2247_A01.10.exe

Do you have OpenManage installed on this server? If not, here is a link : http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER33998M/1/OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WIN-6.5.0-2247_A01.10.exe
You should be able to update your information from inside OpenManage.

I Have one more question. Is it normal that my drac 4/p detect my windows 2008 r2 like:
OS Type 64-bit Microsoft Windows XP
OS Name Microsoft Windows Longhorn Server Server Version 6.1 (Build 7601 : Service Pack 1) (x64)
When OMSA detect its normal. My first idea is that drac 4/p is outdatet but i was update firmware to 1.75. Maybe my drac is to old according to win 2008 r2.

Thank You for resonses its work. I installed before OM-DRAC-Dell-Web-WIN-6.5.0-2247_A01.20.exe but it dosent work. But OMSA works perfect.

It is possible that the firmware may correct the problem, but when released, the server was only capable of running Windows 2003 and 2008 references may never have been addressed. Glad that OMSA worked for you!
