OpenManage configuration

Hello,
 
i have install openmanage on my RHEL3 server for PowerEdge 1850, i have configure also SNMP but i dont get any alert email when something fails, can u tell me a good tutorial that explane to me how to configure it?

Server admin cannot send an email but it will right the alert to /var/log/messages.

I noticed that you said that you configured SNMP.  SNMP has nothing to do with e-mail.  Are you wanting to get e-mail alerts or SNMP trap alerts?  OpenManage Server Administrator has the capability to send SNMP traps for hardware failures.  In order to get e-mail notifications for hardware issues, you have to install OpenManage Server Administrator on a managed system and install IT Assistant on a management station(a computer that manages other systems).
 
If you are unfamiliar with SNMP, then do some google searches for "SNMP Overview".
