Unable to Install on SCCM SP2 R2 "Cannot write to a closed TextWriter"
Hi,
I have two SCCM 2007 SP2 R2 scenarios running. One with everything needed for SCCM incl. sql server on the same host, and the other with a dedicated SCCM host and a dedicated SQL host with the SMS provider.
Every Host in both scenarios is running Windows Server 2008 R2 and the SQL server is a Microsoft SQL 2008 SP1 server.
In the first scenario the dell deployment pack works as expected, but in the second one I always get this error in the _installer.log "Cannot write to a closed TextWriter.".
I read all of your posts and analyzed wmi and registry. The only difference I could notice is that the needed wmi classes are located on the host with the SQL server and SMS provider and not on the SCCM host.
Here is the problem I think, because you have to install the dell deployment pack on the sccm host.
Can somebody help me please?
