Dell Streak 7 Wi-fi randomly shuts off
I have a 3.2 upgraded Dell Streak 7. At random, and frequent times, the wifi on the tablet disconnects. None of my other wireless devices have experienced this issue, just the dell. Does anyone have insight on what might be causing and what a resolution might be? Otherwise....love the Dell.

I have this same problem. I turn off the wifi, turn it back on, and it reconnects immediately.

Not yet. I will try that tonight and see if it fixes the issue.

Have you all did a system reset after your update to 3.2?

have same exact problem done everything i know to do. Sent tablet back to Dell. They send me different tablet back same problem still. I think its the update noticed just then that there is different network connection system. How do you uninstall this system update. Doing system format won't remove the update.

I have finally figured out the problem. I changed my guest access on my router to wep security instead of wpa and now no constant disconnects. Hours and months on phone and online not one Dell rep suggested it might be the security protocol. No reason for this problem to exist. Running perfect now. Hope this helps someone who was like me and ready to put tablet in wood chipper.
