Looking for a reliable media streaming device

I thought I'd ask on here if anyone could recommend a reliable device that would allow me to stream content from my tablet (Venue Pro 11) to a TV screen (to use it as an additional monitor).  I've considered a 25ft mini HDMI to HDMI cable, but was wondering if there were any good wireless alternatives?
