Venue 8 Pro Screen Glitch

I received my Venue 8 Pro last Tuesday and on or around Thursday a screen glitch appeared. It manifests itself as a bar about 1/16 inch thick on the side of the screen (bottom if you are holding it in normal portrait mode). This bar flickers and I've tried upgrading drivers and reinstalling software and doing diagnostics (the Dell ones that are on the system) of every type and flavor. It seems to be getting wider over time using the tablet.

(I know this can be played with VLC if necessary.. Skydrive preview doesn't work)

Has anyone else seen this? Solved it? Am I out of luck and just need to get a replacement? I love this little tablet but can't take this blinking glitch anymore. Anyone gone through an exchange? Can I get a new one before sending back the old one? I'd prefer not to be without it.
