What should I do ? My service tag return a wrong model number.

I got a refurbished venue 11 pro 5130 (atom) machine,

and would like to transfer the ownership from US to my country.

However, when I check the Ownership Transfer page, it shown me for i3/i5 series machine.

Waiting for the reply for about a week, I am a little bit worry about the ownership transfer.

Would it be a problem for that, and what should I do ?

It takes awhile for the transfer to take place; the website says 10-15 days--mine took 2 weeks. Why not just wait and see, and not worry? Hopefully, everything will go through just fine.

I understood that the transfer would take about 2 weeks.

However, the service tag issue just bother me.

Dell is such a large and good service company in my mind,

It shouldn't pop up such kind of careless mistake.

If the auto-update from Dell is enabled, would it download & install the wrong "BIOS" or drivers..... Worry it would brick the tablet and no one in here will fix it.

I believe that it scans the tablet first, to make sure that the correct software is applied. But you also could simply do any updates "manually," from the downloads webpage.
