Thats currently not implemented – we are looking to support that in a future release

This is a serious issue when dealing with recover point and unity. It's taking hours to create the required number of journal volumes.

We are fixing this issue with the software release coming late this quarter.

yes - the workaround is to create a consistency group which has a dialog to create multiple LUNs at once.

Then remove the LUNs from the CG and delete the CG

Meanwhile, you can try to script this with UEMCLI / REST API or create LUNs in bulk via Consistency Groups.

actually a good idea that helps a great deal with RPA configuration. Still this and LUN migration not being possible on Unity are a big miss in my humble opinion.

Turns out auto provisioning is not possible with Unity, you can't register it under storage because there is no option to do so.

Hi nixonm. I don't know what you mean by "auto provisioning". Is this a feature you have on some other system?

auto creating the LUNs through RPA. It can't be done with Unity so it's not a valid work around to creating multiple LUNs at once until the feature is available in unisphere.

RP should be able to interact with the array over UEMCLI or REST API. So even though this is no possible on the GUI, it should not be a problem over CLI or REST API.
