Hi Gonzalo,
yes this is possible, we have a very useful document called VMAX-Management-Software-Events-and-Alerts-Guide which can be downloaded from https://support.emc.com/downloads/
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi all, im trying to configure SNMP traps to inform when an srdf device is splitted/resumed/establish...etc.etc.
The VMAX traps are sending out fine but when i do a manual srdf operation (like split) the sent trap only informs that a "Symmetrix XXXXXX: Dynamic RDF operation performed on device".
There exist another way to be more specific?. I need specific information about the states of the srdf devices.
Mi daemon_options file looks like this:
storevntd:snmp_trap_client_registration = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,162,8,ACTIVE
Thanks in advance!

Hi Gonzalo,
I checked this for you and I'm afraid that's as specific as we get for these traps.
