Expanding Storagepool VNXe3200
Hey,
I have a customer who has a VNXe3200 with 12x300GB 15k HDDs and one Storagepool.
He would like to expand this Storagepool with more storage in one single pool.
It is possible, to expand the Storagepool with 600GB 15k HDDs?
I know, that is not BestPractice, but is that possible, to configure this?
targetconfiguration:
One Storagepool with 12x300GB 15k & 6x600GB 15k Drives
Regards, Martin

What is the current Pool config and Hot Spare allocation ?
I don't think 12 disks is a supported RAID 5 config (should be 4+1, 8+1 or 12+1), but is a supported RAID 6 config.

Hey, this is a "old" Vnxe3200, without any software, e.g FAST/Replication etc

No, I don't think you're going to be able to expand with that combination.
