Failed to delete the LUN
Hi guys
I want to delete a lun that I do not need it, but the following message is showed me:
failed to delete the following LUN(s):
LUN1- contained within a storage group
this error occures when a LUN is assigned to a storage goup, but there is not any storage group in my storage.
How can I fix it? do you have the same experience?

Is this for a Unity system? Or VNX?
Please remember this is a Unity only forum.
If this is a Unity (doesn't sound like it), you need to remove host access tot his LUN for all hosts before you can delete it.
From Unisphere > LUN properties > Host access (this needs to have nothing).

this is vnx2 5200
there is not any storage group that I could delete it.
should I change the forum, you mean?
