Hi, Did anyone of you changed the password of CIFS Server in VNX 5600?Would you please share me the procedure??

Hi

We have been using CIFS server in EMC VNX 5600.Now we need to change the password of that CIFS server.

I don't see any document to change the password.

Would you please share me the procedure?

If you mean that you have a CIFS server with local users enabled that you want to change its Administrator password – you do it the same way than you remotely change the password on a Windows system.

From a Window client press Ctrl-Alt-Del choose change password and put in the correct CIFS server name
