Hi Folks,
Important message about the latest version of VNXe.
The VNXe Operating Environment Release MR1 SP1 (code version 2.1.1.14913) is currently unavailable for download. A new VNXe Operating Environment Release image and release notes will be posted and available for download over the next several days. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience. Please contact EMC support if you have questions or require assistance.
Thanks,
Jeff

Well it's been 2 weeks now since the announcement was made that a new version would be out in "the next several days". I know "several" is not a strictly defined term, but can you give us an idea of how it's progressing?
I installed version 2.1.1.14913 during the period when it was available for download. I have a strange symptom that EMC support has not been able to troubleshoot, and I'm suspicious that I might be seeing whatever bug caused you to pull that version. Thus I'm eager to get the new version in hopes it will cure my problem.
Some indication of what the problem was that caused you to pull it would be nice too, if only so people like me can get an idea of whether our problems are caused by a bug in version 2.1.1.14913.
Thanks

Oh OK I see it now, I was looking in the wrong place, and the announcement on the support homepage for VNXe still says "will be posted and available for download over the next several days". I thought that announcement would be replaced once the patch was available.
I am still confused though. The download page for the SP2 says "If you have already upgraded to 2.1.1, you have the correct firmware and do not need to upgrade to this version. Please see release notes for further detail."
I did upgrade previously to 2.1.1, so maybe this SP2 has nothing to offer for me?
I have not been able to find the Release Notes for SP2, can you provide a link?
Thanks much
Mark
