incremental synchronization / manual suspend one leg of a Distributed device

Hello,

Is there any possibility to manually suspend one leg of a distributed device (R1)?

For Example:

I have a VPLEX Metro Config.

I have a distributed device called DS1 and it has two legs Local_A(Cluster-1) and Local_B(Cluster-2).

I have a Billing System on this DS1 and the closing procedure is very I/O intensive, and I don't want to wait for the

WAN latency. Because of this, I would like to suspend Local_B, while other distributed devices are intact.

After the closing procedure ended, I wouldn't like full resynchronization, like detach/attach mirror operation, I want

incremental resyncs, which much faster. Please help to solve this problem.

Today there is no supported way, or feature, of doing this. Although a work around could be to simply unmask the leg from vplex..that will cause the logging volume to kick in. After the closing procedure mask the volume back to vplex causing an incremental rebuild.
