Unable to delete volumes "Error 1020 (http: 400): Resource is being referenced. Volume urn:storageos"
Hello ViPR experts
may I request your assistance, I am setting up a large test environment, and while documenting what I was doing, I've made a few mistakes and now can not clean up the mess I have made.
Basically, I am unable to remove volumes form the resources volumes tab.
Error 1020 (http: 400): Resource is being referenced. Volume urn:storageos:Volume:85397bda-42e5-42a4-b7a4-deb9cc7be266:vdc1 has active references of type ExportGroup
if I try delete the Export group, i get this but nothing happens:
Created 1 tasks to delete export groups.

Hi Dave,
Have you tried using the option "Inventory Only" when you delete the volume?

Hi Javier,
Thanks for the reply, Yes – I’ve tried that as well – fails with the same error.
I was also logged in as root, so assuming root has full control over everything.
I’m guessing I removed some storage after a ViPR timeout with affected the database somehow.
I’ve deployed a new instance of ViPR in the meantime & backup up and running
