ESXi Lockdown Mode and Tech Support Mode Alerting

I would like to be alerted if an ESXi host is not in lockdown mode or has TSM enabled. We have over 100 hosts and and sometimes when these settings are toggled we forget to put them back. Has anyone written or know of rules that alert on this?

Thanks,

Chris

This is not collected in current version (vFoglight 6.6). It can be done with customization, creating a script agent that executes a PowerCLI script for example and populate results on a dashboard.

I will pass this feature request along to Product Management to add collection of Lockdown Mode and Tech Support Mode out of the box and have an alert for it as well.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Is this data available in vCenter?

Reason why I´m asking is that vFoglight only communkicate to vCenter to collect data.

Yes, the data can be obtained from vCenter via the GUI or a PowerCLI script.
