McD's hacked

Appears the Russian hacker group known as "Snatch" hacked McD's for ransom, possibly in retaliation for sanctions put on Russia when it invaded Ukraine. ~500 GB of data have been stolen and payment from McD's has been demanded on the dark web.

McDonald’s hasn't confirmed if the hack occurred, but it’s common for companies to stay silent in these situations. 

If you use the McDonald’s app, or if the company has your private information for any other reason, make sure your data is safe. And if you use the same user name and password elsewhere (never a good idea!), be sure to change  passwords at those other sites too.

Stay alert, this may just be the first cyber attack stemming from the war that Russia started...
