Personal Anti-Virus Icon & Spyware 3 program
Last night this problem started with the Personal Antivirus showing up saying I have a lot of trojans along with Spyware3, how do I get rid of this any help would be appreciated. Also today I have a popup by the clock saying Bloodhound.PDF.8 trojan found and W32/Pavsee.C Virus found. Both of those have the option Block or Ignore when I hit block I am taken to the Peroanal Antivirus window.
Also, having the issue with Defender and McAfee, from what I have been reading is that they are doing the same thing (protection) but they don't work together very well.
I'm uninstalled Spyware3 but got a popup saying that the file could not be found.
I have a Studio with Vista.
I'm not a pc pro, just let me know where I need to look for information you might need to assist.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Dee,
Welcome! :emotion-1:
Try running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
Please download to your desktop Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
Alternatively, you can update through MBAM's interface from a clean computer,
copy the definitions (rules.ref) located in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes'
Anti-Malware from that system to a usb stick or CD and then copy it to the infected machine.
Click Remove Selected.
1. Just click the "Post A Message" button (upper right) in the Malware Removal forum HERE
to start your own thread requesting assistance for a follow-up check to be sure the malware is gone.
2. In the discussion window that opens, simply Right-Click and select Paste.
Extra Notes:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
-- MBAM may make changes to your registry as part of its disinfection routine. If you're using other security programs that detect registry changes (like Spybot's Teatimer), they may interfere with the fix or alert you after scanning with MBAM. Please disable such programs until disinfection is complete or permit them to allow the changes.
**If you need to re-install MBAM but encounter issue in re-installing, try using the MBAM Cleanup Utility by downloading it from http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

Bugbatter,
Thank you, it worked. Now I just need to Fix the popups that come up after Startup
I do not remember having Spyware installed when I purchased my laptop, and before the problem corrected with the above instructions I did not have a problem with Defender. Any suggestions??
Thanks again!!! :emotion-2:

Windows Defender needs to be disabled s long as you are using McAfee.
Have you tried to search for C:\Program Files\Enigma Software Group\SpyHunter? Maybe you can manually delete the folder. Apparently Spyhunter3 had an incomplete removal the first time around.
