Vostro 410, Power Supply
My old Vostro 410, now aged about 15 years, is refusing to start. It's been on the blink for a week or so. I suspect that the PSU has given up the ghost. The data (it looks like the part number) on PSU is CN-OM282-42940-86N-1IDL. I've searched against that data but without success. Any suggestions for an equivalent PSU would be much appreciated as I don't want to send the PC to the scrap yard.

Dell Vostro 410 Tower comes with standard 350w or better power supply.
Not 0M282 but rather DPS-350VB-1 M282C
https://www.amazon.com/M282C-PSU-350W-Vostro-410/dp/B00ZSX5ZW2/
Recommended replacement would be EVGA 700BR

Hi! I'm having the same issue as you. Do you mind my asking, did you get an original dell refurbished PSU for your vostro 410 or did you get a brand new after market unit and if so, which one did you end up buying? Thanks in advance!

I bought a salvaged PSU from an eBay member. I can't imagine there was much if any refurbishment done to it, other than dismantling it from an old Dell computer. That said, the recovered unit works fine. This PSU is a slightly higher spec than the old failed one.
