Vostro 220s, can I run Quad core?
Please guys, guide me can i run Quad core processor on my dell vostro 200 slim. If no, then how much higher i install processor in my dell vostro 200.
And one more question is that how much ram i built in it to my pc on 4 RAM slots.

The vostro 200 is RE Badged Inspiron 530.
The SLIM Model does not come with a motherboard OR TOWER 350W POWER SUPPLY that supports the QUADS. Vostro 200 Mini Tower and the Vostro 200s Slimline are not the same.
G33m02 [Dell P/N ORY007] does not support quads and optional 350W power supply is required. G33M03 (OFM586) is required for Quads. Bios 1.0.18 may also be required.
This power supply is NOT Available on the SLIM model.
So the answer is NO not EVER.
If BIOS is not 1.0.15 or higher, you will need to update the BIOS before the Core 2 Quad processor is installed, plus install at least a 350w power supply.
