White/Static noise on headset microphone when connected to laptop

I have a Dell Vostro 3558 Laptop and Corsair HS35 headset. I noticed that the microphone picks up static noise when connected to the laptop. The white noise isn't picked up when connected to my phone or other computers, so it has to be the laptop that's causing the problem. I tried plugging and unplugging the charger and any other USBs but still picks up the static noise. Anyone know how to remove the static noise? Thanks in advance.
