Dell Recovery & Restore USB Drive Download for Latitude
Hi, after installing the latest Windows 10 update my Latitude has become unresponsive, it will load the desktop as a black screen with the icons but clicking the icons will not initiate any of the programs, the only program that responds is the task manager. I have downloaded the Recovery & Restore USB Drive to another computer but are unable to extract its contents, i have tried this on different machines. The file shows that it contains 570MB but the extract wizard tells me that it is empty. Any information to help resolve this issue would be appreciated.

This seems to be caused by a corrupt file. Try creating a local account & check if this works. You can follow the instructions here http://bit.ly/2lqkO31
If the issue persists, you will need to reinstall the OS.
If the image you are downloading does not work, you may need contact our phone support to order a recovery disc/USB .
