Do not have permission to view files from camera memory card
When I insert a memory card from a camera and try to open one of the jpegs, I am told I do not have permission to view the files. I was told this is a software issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Happy New Year and thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately, when I insert the memory card, right click and go to properties, I get the following tabs:
General, Tools, Hardware, Sharing, ReadyBoost, and Customize
None of the tabs say 'Security'
This is for use in my D: Drive.
Any thoughts?

Sounds like you don't have an Administrator account

Ok. Is there anything I can do? I own the computer, shouldn't I be able to make any necessary changes to it?

Hi,
When I go to User Accounts, it shows my name, email address and says, "Administrator Password Protected" within the control panel
