Windows 10 Root Access

Hello there, I just purchased a Vostro Desktop for business use, it came with Windows 10 Pro and i installed our ERP application which has an operation within which makes a txt file on the root. This is the first desktop PC with Windows 10 we have, all the others have Windows 7 Pro on them, so i need some help on how to enable access to the root, so the application can create this txt file it needs. When it tries to do so, i get an error message access denied. I tried to google it but i didn't find anything helpful. Please advice. Thank you!
