Windows 10 grade stops with Display error
I have the exact same issue as ECJ215. When I try to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 10 I keep getting a message that Windows 10 will not run on this PC because "The display is not compatible with Windows 10..."
My monitor is the Dell 1908 FP and the desktop is a Omniplex 745.
I am desperate for a solution because I don't want to miss out on the free upgrade to Windows 10.

Unfortunately, the Optiplex 745 has not been verified to run windows 10. You can upgrade, but you may have issues with the hardware working. Dell has not developed any Windows 10 drivers for this computer.

Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected.

This is very disappointing. The Windows 10 download assistant does not give me the option to try to upgrade any further and just directs me to contact the manufacturer. Thank you for your response.
