Can I re-install 32-bit Windows 7 on a Zino shipped 64-bit

I understand one can no longer order a system with the OS installed 32-bit. However, many legacy software applications won't run 64-bit. I have purchased a Zino with Windows 7 64-bit home premium and am hoping I can reinstall the OS in 32-bit mode without having to buy a new actication key.

Can anyone confirm or deny this is possible? Dell sales could not.

The retail version of W7 can use the same key for 32 and 64 bit.

I'm not sure the same applies to oem software though there is no reason to suggest that the same doesn't apply.

That will only apply if the 32bit was supplied by Dell. However, you will have to apply a retail version of Win 7, if you want the 32 bit version.
