Computer owners manual

I'm wondering what one does if their computer crashes, won't turn on,etc. and the owners manual is on the computer and can't be accessed?
Anybody have a answer?

If you only have the manual in electronic form (I have always gotten something in print with every computer I have bought), you might consider printing out part of it to keep aside for emergencies or storing it on somebody else's computer.

If have access to another computer, the manual is always available online. But saving a printout and a copy on a cd is a good idea.

Can you help me??  I have a used dimension e310 and I don't know much about the system.  I want an owner's manual.  Where can I purchase one, find one, or where can I find it on my computer? I want to learn more about my computer like if it can burn a dvd!  Any or all help would be appreciated.

Thanks:smileyhappy:
