Installing Windows XP Pro on a Vista system (i1720)
Hay all!
I searched for this topic, and didn't come up with what I was looking for, so before I go out and buy...
I want to "fire" Vista, and install the Pro version of XP. I then want to "kick vista out" of my system. Is this possible for an Inspiron 1720?

The XP drivers are here http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=WW1&catid=-1&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_PM_1720&hidos=WLH&hidlang=en&TabIndex=&scanSupported=True&scanConsent=False so there should not be a problem with XP on your 1720 .
