Use Win 8 ISO from another system upgrade to clean install new XPS 8500?
Can I use the Win 8 ISO from another system upgrade to do a clean install of my new XPS 8500? I think my XPS 8500 already has the win 8 key in BIOS.
Looking to install Win 8 on another smaller drive in my XPS 8500.

Hi jkwi99,
It should not ask for the product key if you install it from OEM disk however, I am not sure if it would ask for the product key when installed from any other iso as I have not tried it personally.
