Windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown

The Inspiron I1501 shuts down at any point of time during use with the following Error Message:

Windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown

Window can check on line for a solution to the problem

When I click on to check a solution online, it founds nothing.

The frequency for shutting down is 30mins, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4-5 hours. It shuts down anytime it likes to. Help!

So far, I have narrowed this down to AVG Antivirus, but it could be other things as well.

I had that on my Inspiron 1501 happen so many times. Maybe dell can look into this further.

I have found some more information , the first step worked for me.

1. Check if Do you have zone alarm installed?? If yes , uninstall it and check if the system shutsdown. Looks like ZoneAlarm may no longer be compatible with Vista anymore, OR at least Not Vista compatible on some system architectures

2. Check for latest driver for Video Card.

4. Check In Device Manager under "Network adapters" If you have  "6TO4 Adapter" with a yellow exclamation mark.  If you have those exclamation marks, uninstall Broadcom's network diagnostics utility. If this does not works uninstall and reinstall the network adapter. http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/www.support.microsoft.com/?kbid=929734

Hope this helps.
