Can't Hear any sound

Can't Hear any sound

Hello, I am a newbie when it comes to VNC or Cloud based services, I work for Verizon Wireless and think this will be a good demoing tool, here is my current problem. I currently use Windows 7 64 bit on my home pc. I had no issue getting my I-Pad and PC to sync up. I can connect to my PC remotely and do all that jazz, but I wanted to be able to listen to my music or be able to go to say hulu.com and be able to watch and listen to shows, mainly listen to mp3. I originally got the free version but after relizeing there was no sound on the free version I upgraded to the 14.99 pro version that I thought would provide sound, changed setting a bunch of different ways to and still no sound, set anywhere between auto and on remote machine. Now on the Pocket cloud program I did the diagnose thing then went to the Auto discovery thing and went to the settings and it says VNC to port 5900 is sucessful and RDP to port 3389 Failed. I read around the forum but couldn't find a close enough answer that worked, so any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the response Suchita however, it's not all that useful. I can see that there is already a post on the link you sent with that feature request. Please answer the questions I posed or alternatively give me a contact name to whom I should direct a complaint. Thanks.

Roger,

I have been referred to this forum from UK sales as they tell me they don't support PocketCloud.

Yesterday I upgraded from the free version of PocketCloud for iPhone to the Pro version as I was really pleased with the application but wanted the benefit of streaming audio.

After adjusting all the settings with no success I found on the support forum that audio is not supported for Mac, I looked back to the iTunes description as I read it carefully before making the purchase and it really is not clear that audio is not supported for Mac. I can only surmise that customers are supposed to figure out that the RDP section refers to Windows only? I certainly did not know that this was the case (the very reason I went for the WYSE application is because it requires little technical know-how).

I would like to know if there are any immediate plans to add support for audio on OS X? If there is not I would like to know how I can receive a refund and I will remove the Pro application as for my use it offers no benefits over the free application. Should you add audio support in the future I will gladly pay to upgrade for this feature.

Many Thanks,

Verizonguy,
VNC does not support sound redirection. Home Editions of Windows 7 do not include support for RDP server, which does support sound re-direction. For more details on the features, please visit our product site at http://www.wyse.com/products/softwar...hone/index.asp
