No Keyboard Auto-Activation although companion is installed
No Keyboard Auto-Activation although companion is installed
I can not get the Keyboard Auto-Activation to work although I installed the latest companion tool. I use win 7 ultimate over RDP.
Neither local access nor public WLAN works.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Digi,
On your application settings page- do you have keyboard autoactive ON?
If it is on, Then you should be seeing the keyboard whenever you try to enter data, In any text editor like notepad, or a browser url bar.

keyboard auto activation
hello why keyboard activation is not available on iphone ipad? pocket cloud for windows is installed on verison 2.8.37. client installed on ipad is the last.

Hi Suchitha,
of course I have Keyboard Auto-Activation ON.
My findings so far:
opening notepad -> Keyboard Auto-Activation works.
opening internet explorer and click in URL bar -> Keyboard Auto-Activation works.
Explorer, two clicks on a file name, file name is opened for editing, -> Keyboard Auto-Activation works after an additional click on the already editable file name.
firefox 4.0 and click in URL bar -> Keyboard Auto-Activation does NOT work.
java app (jdownloader) e.g. click in settings - passwords and login - unrar/extract window -> Keyboard Auto-Activation does NOT work.
cmd window -> Keyboard Auto-Activation does NOT work.
windows Power Shell -> Keyboard Auto-Activation does NOT work.
So I have to apologize, in most cases Keyboard Auto-Activation works, but not for all.
